Where it comes from

There’s definitely some different plane of existence creatives tap into. I think that’s especially true for those that tell stories. Jesus often spoke in parables, which speaks a lot about what stays with us as humans. If I say I am pulling from the divine to create my stories, I’d like to treat those places, characters, and events with the same love and care I experience with my creator. Not everything will be happy or sad, and there will always be a natural order, sometimes similar, other times vastly different. I do believe God has given me this ability to weave character and story so that I may proclaim his glory, not just with my skill but the thing we all as creatives tap into. While I do believe my hard work in writing has paid off, I know where it all comes from. It comes from God.
